Spokane Catholic Charities launches website

the Inland Register

(From the July 5, 2001 edition of the Inland Register)

Spokane Catholic Charities is now open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at its new website.

The website is a new way for people to access information about services and opportunities through Catholic Charities, said Mary Ann Heskett, who is Development Director.

Catholic Charities administers 10 programs which offer 25 services in 37 different locations throughout Eastern Washington. The new website contains comprehensive information for people needing service. An example would be the Housing Page which lists the 13 apartment complexes serving families, seniors and people with disabilities.

The Volunteer Page lists 60 different volunteer opportunities, dates for Volunteer information sessions and a downloadable Volunteer Application form.

Additional pages include newsletters, upcoming special events, job openings, and ways to make donations. The web site will be updated regularly.

Heskett said, A frequent comment is I know Catholic Charities is doing good ... I just dont know what all you do. The website is a new way to tell our story.
