The seminarians and faculty of Bishop White Seminary gathered in December to celebrate the end of the semester. The evening included a solemn celebration of Evening Prayer, social, prime-rib dinner and an exchange of gifts.

Bishop White Seminary is the only college seminary in the State of Washington. The seminary currently has 13 men in formation from three different dioceses in the Pacific Northwest.

The Rector of Bishop White, Father Darrin Connall, and the Director of Spiritual Formation, Jesuit Father Matthew Gamber, are assisted by 11 other priests who meet regularly with seminarians to provide spiritual direction and personal formation. Seminarians earn their undergraduate degrees from Gonzaga University.

This annual seminary celebration brings together all those who have some role in the formation of Bishop White seminarians. “The evening provides us with an opportunity to thank our Spiritual Directors, Formation Advisors, and members of the Priestly Formation Council for all their hard work,” said Father Connall. “The success of our formation program depends heavily on the talents and generosity of so many people.”
