Global assistance

the Inland Register

(From the March 20, 2003 edition of the Inland Register)

Students at Holy Family School, Clarkston, reached out cross the globe to help other students in Micronesia. Students at a school in Truuk, Micronesia, live in an area which has been devastated by typhoons twice in less than a year. Holy Family students and teachers each filled a two-gallon ZipLoc bag with health care items, treats, and school supplies. Together with the assistance of Jack and Regina Sullivan, the goods were shipped to Micronesia, funded by donations, student council funds, and the generous assistance of the Sullivans. The Clarkston students are anxiously awaiting word from their new friends across the world. From left: Blaine Perez, Nick Rimmelspacher, and Karlee and Lynzee Wilson.
