Holy Names jubilarians

Celebrating her 50th jubilee of Religious life this year is Holy Names Sister Sheila McEvoy (second from left). She grew up in Seattle and later earned degrees from Marylhurst College in Oregon, from Seattle University, and from Boston College. Sister Sheila (Mary Josepha) taught at Holy Names schools in Spokane and was assistant superintendent of schools for the diocese. She served as the second provincial director of the Holy Names Sisters’ Washington Province and also was president of Fort Wright College. Other ministries include time as director of the National Association of Church Personnel Administrators and as director of Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, Spokane. Sister Sheila currectly directs SEEL (Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life) and is a member of the Holy Names Sisters’ new Interprovince Implementation Team. Also marking jubilees this year are, from left, Sisters Teresa Iusi (60 years), Regina Stuble (70 years), Mary Janett (60 years), Dolores Ann McDonald (70 years), and Agnes Marie Kreig (70 years).
