The seventh annual “Caring for Kids” luncheon, to benefit St. Anne Children and Family Center and Morning Star Boys’ Ranch, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Red Lion Grand at the Park Hotel, 303 W. North River Drive, Spokane.
The event will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Prior to working at Poynter, McBride spent 14 years as a reporter for The Spokesman-Review, Spokane’s daily newspaper, where she covered crime for six years and religion for eight.
She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in Religious Studies from Gonzaga University.
