Mummy's Day?

the Inland Register

(From the March 16, 2006 edition of the Inland Register)

Third graders at Cataldo School, Spokane, had a session making masks during a recent art enrichment project. The school’s art enrichment program is a six-week, parent-run event in which the grades study and learn about various artists and their techniques, including history, style, and colors. By the time they graduate from Cataldo, the students have enjoyed extensive study of seven to eight different major artists. The students served as living forms for masks, breathing through straws as the materials completed their process. The artist the third graders are studying is Pablo Picasso.
