Catholic Charities’ 10th annual Spirit of St. Patrick party will be held at the Mukogawa Fort Wright Commons on Friday, March 9, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The yearly event is a benefit for St. Margaret Shelter, a refuge for homeless women and their children who are working to get their lives together.
The party includes a hearty Irish buffet with corned beef, salmon, cabbage, Irish potatoes, dessert, and a no-host bar. After the meal there will be a raffle and live auction of such desirable items as a Charlotte Bobcat signed Adam Morrison jersey, a limited edition photo of Dan Dickau and Adam Morrison, and certificates to stay at a number of places, including Hill Resort in Priest Lake and two nights at a Red Lion Inn anywhere.
There will also be a silent auction of items, including a football helmet signed by the EWU team, four tickets for EWU football games, and certificates for sports camps for kids and dining out. After the auction guests can dance to the classic rock music of PF Flyer until midnight.
Tickets are $45 per person and reservations may be made by calling 358-4254.
