(From the March 22, 2007 edition of the Inland Register)

A benefit breakfast to help support the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Spokane will be hosted Sunday, April 15, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 302 E. Boone Ave. in Spokane.

The Society serves up to 100 families or individuals each day, providing food, clothing, and other assistance. According to Bruno Kensok, one of St. Vincent’s long-time volunteers, the breakfast “will help us to help those that come to us for help.”

The April 15 event features ham, sausage, hot cakes, eggs, coffee, and orange juice.

Adults are $5; seniors and children age 6-12, $4; children under 6 eat for free. Families of 5 or more are $20.
