The entire student body of St. Paschal School, Spokane Valley, performed the play The Night Before Christmas Caper earlier this month – singing, acting, working in stage craft, and more.

The well-attended performance was held at nearby Orchard Avenue Elementary School.

The play was described as “a contemporary mystery with a religious theme.”

Parents Tina Heintzelman and Hannah Jennings volunteered to direct and produce the play. Both have children attending St Paschal School. Heintzelman directed; Jennings served as music director.

But the real stars of the play were the St. Paschal students.

Music and script for The Night Before Christmas Caper were written by Janet McMahon-Wilson.
