On Friday, Feb. 15, members of Gonzaga Prepís faculty and staff used one of two retreat days to volunteer at three local centers that provide services to children, families, and the homeless.
One group spent the morning at the House of Charity sorting clothing, serving food, and talking with the homeless clients. A second group worked with children at St. Anne Children and Family Center Ė reading, assisting with projects, and playing with the children in the classroom or learning centers.
A third group spent the morning cleaning, cooking and providing respite care for mothers at St. Margaret Shelter.
