Charismatic renewal conference is June 20-21 in Spokane

The Inland Empire Catholic Charismatic Renewal (IECCR) will have its annual conference on Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21, at St. Peter Church, on the corner of 18th and Freya in Spokane.

Keynote speaker for the conference is Father Richard McAlear (right), who comes to the conference from Southwest Florida.

This year’s conference theme is “So … Walk in Him,” from Col. 2:6-7: “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.”

The conference begins Friday, June 20, with registration at 5 p.m. Praise and Worship is scheduled for 7 p.m., and Father McAlear’s first conference, “Remember Your First Love,” begins at 8 p.m.

Registration continues at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21. Praise and Worship is at 9 a.m.. The first session, “Importance of Discipleship,” is set for 9:30.

After a break at 10:30 a.m., the next session begins at 11, titled “Equipping People for Prayer.”

Lunch is at noon; praise and worship at 1:30 p.m.; workshops at 2; testimonies, 3 p.m.; dinner break from 4-6 p.m.; praise and worship at 7 p.m., followed by Mass and a healing service at 7:30 p.m.
