Parochial Sports League fall championships played last month

Cataldo School’s 7th and 8th grade football team took first place in the Spokane Parochial League championships last month at Gonzaga Prep. The weekend of October 25-26 was a busy time at Gonzaga Prep as championship events took place for fall sports in the Spokane Parochial League. Results were as follows:

Boys 7th/8th grade football: Cataldo 25, All Saints 8 (1st, 2nd)

St. Thomas More/ St. Charles/ St. Patrick defeated Assumption/Trinity (3rd, 4th).

Boys 5th/6th grade football:

St. Thomas More/St. Charles/St. Patrick defeated All Saints (1st, 2nd)

Cataldo defeated Assumption/Trinity (3rd, 4th)

Girls 8th grade volleyball:

St. Aloysius defeated St. Thomas More (1st, 2nd)

Assumption defeated All Saints (3rd, 4th)

Girls 7th grade volleyball:

Northwest Christian defeated Cataldo (1st, 2nd)

St. Aloysius defeated Assumption (3rd, 4th)

This is the fourth year that Gonzaga Prep has sponsored the Spokane Parochial Sports League. Dave McKenna is the league commissioner. Winter sports start play in January.
