IHRC continues Mary Day tradition Saturday, Oct. 9

Immaculate Heart Retreat Center (IHRC), in cooperation with Queen of Peace Cemetery, will host Diocesan Mary Day on Saturday, Oct. 9, 1-3 p.m. on the grounds of Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, 6910 S. Ben Burr Rd. in Spokane.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Sponsored in part by Queen of Peace Cemetery, all are welcome to gather with Bishop Blase J. Cupich to process around the Rosary Garden and recite the Living Rosary, renew the diocese consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and crown the statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
Master of Ceremonies is Martin Weber, president of the Spokane Serra Club. Also scheduled to participate are the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Color Guard; students of Bishop White Seminary; and the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church.
Leading the rosary will be students from St. Charles, Gonzaga Prep, St. Mary, St. Patrick, All Saints, and St. Thomas More schools, as well as Gonzaga Prep.
Following the ceremony will be a reception in the dining room where families, retreatants, friends and benefactors may welcome Bishop Cupich to his new home and enjoy one anotherís company.
