Serenity Retreat offered June 3-5 at IHRC

Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, 6910 S. Ben Burr Rd. in Spokane, is holding a weekend Serenity Retreat for recovery from alcohol and addictions on Friday-Sunday, June 3-5.

Jesuit Father Jim Harbaugh, a celebrated Serenity retreat director and author, will take participants on a journey that enhances understanding of the Twelve Steps.

Father Harbaugh is also skilled as a spiritual director, utilizing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in his approach to Serenity.

He has spent over 28 years in working with addictions and is the author of the book A Twelve-Step Approach to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius (Sheed and Ward, 1997).

The cost of this weekend retreat is $185, or $280 for couples and $100 for commuters.
