Much Ado about Nothing, one of Shakespeare’s most popular romantic comedies, will be performed this weekend by a cast of students from Gonzaga and Eastern Washington universities, along with other members of the Spokane community, under the direction of Jesuit Father Kevin Connell, principal of Gonzaga Prep.
Performances are set for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 19 and 20, at 6 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 21, at 3 p.m.
The play will be performed outdoors in the courtyard at the west end of Gonzaga Prep’s main school building, 1224 E. Euclid in Spokane. Performances last about 2 hours with intermission and are family-friendly. Admission is by donation and no reservations will be taken.
