‘Catholicism’ offers adults a ‘deep journey’ into Faith

the Inland Register

(From the January 19, 2012 edition of the Inland Register)

A new study series starts later this month at St. Joseph Parish, 4521 N. Arden Rd. in Otis Orchards, Wash. Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 9 a.m., and repeating Thursday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m., the parish will offer the new series “Catholicism,” a study of what Catholics believe and why – an opportunity for adults to come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic Faith.

Neither a video lecture, nor just Church history, nor Scripture study, this engaging and interesting formational program uses the art, architecture, literature, music and all the treasures of the Catholic tradition to illuminate the timeless teachings of the Church. The 10-part series will be presented weekly on Tuesday mornings, 9-10:30 a.m., Jan. 24-March 27, and repeated Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m., Jan. 26-March 29.
