Father Steve Dublinski, the Spokane Diocese’s Vicar General and Rector of Bishop White Seminary, and a few of his friends will be riding 100 miles to raise funds for Bishop White Seminary Foundation on Saturday, Sept. 22.

This year Bishop White Seminary has received a matching grant from the Extension Society for up to $50,000 for new foundation money raised before the end of this year. Efforts so far have raised $20,000. The goal is to raise the remaining $30,000 through donations during the Tour de la Diócesis.

The tour will begin at Assumption Parish in Walla Walla and end at Sacred Heart Parish in Othello. Along the way the riders will make stops at St. Patrick and St. Francis parishes in Walla Walla, St. Patrick Parish in Pasco, St. Paul Parish in Eltopia, and at St. Paul’s mission in Basin City.

Bishop White Seminary is the only seminary in Washington State and currently has students from Walla Walla, Pasco, Spokane, Seattle and San Francisco. The seminary is located at Gonzaga University.

Donations can be made online at or by sending a check via postal mail to:
