‘Each of them is a potential world-changer’

the Inland Register

(From the November 15, 2012 edition of the Inland Register)

On Thursday, Oct. 25, Dave Dahl, of Dave’s Killer Bread, returned to Morning Star Boys Ranch a second time to share his valuable message for the boys residing at the Ranch. Dave, a recovered felon, stressed the importance of getting an education. “Education changed my life, any opportunity you have to get an education – stick with it – you won’t regret it.” Dahl answered questions about his business, his prison experiences, and awarded a loaf of bread to each boy that asked a question. On his Facebook page the day after being at the Ranch, Dahl posted, “I can’t express how important it is to support these very young and disadvantaged folks. How can we help them? Each of them is a potential world-changer. I hope my message makes a difference to them.” (IR photo courtesy of the Morning Star Foundation)
