Special Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration scheduled for Cathedral on June 2

On Feb. 28, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council to Promote the New Evangelization, wrote to inform that the Holy Father has scheduled a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration on Sunday, June 2, the Feast of Corpus Christie, at 5 p.m. Rome time. The archbishop requested that the cathedrals around the world schedule a similar hour to synchronize with the service at the Vatican Basilica.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Ave. in Spokane, will be among the cathedrals honoring the request. Bishop Blase Cupich will preside at the Spokane Holy Hour, which will begin at 7:50 a.m. on June 2, and will conclude with Benediction before the regularly scheduled 9 a.m. Mass.
