the Inland Register

(From the June 20, 2013 edition of the Inland Register)

On Friday, May 31 – the Feast of the Visitation – the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church welcomed six young women for a “Come and See” Discernment Retreat. The weekend provided the opportunity for women who are discerning a Religious vocation to join the Sisters in their prayers, meals, apostolates, and times of recreation. In addition, talks were given by the Sisters as they shared about their lives lived in common, their apostolic works, Marian spirituality, and the evangelical counsels. Father Kenny St. Hilaire, pastor of St. Patrick Parish, Spokane, gave a conference on “Discernment” and was available for confession and spiritual direction.
