A car for the winning

the Inland Register

(From the October 17, 2013 edition of the Inland Register)

Assumption School in northwest Spokane will be raffling off a 2004 Anniversary Series Ford Mustang this school year. Parishioners John and Virginia Kiernan recently donated their vehicle to be used as a fundraiser to support the school, including the “Fair Share” tuition stewardship program, which allows students to attend Assumption’s School regardless of family income. The car has less than 34,000 miles on it. American Way Collision Center on Francis Avenue donated its detailing services to further make the car look “like new” again. The winning ticket for the car will be selected during the school’s annual auction at Gonzaga Prep on April 26, 2014. Assumption School families will be displaying the car at various community events and parishes in the coming months. For information about displaying the vehicle at an event, call the parish office: 326-0144. (IR photo courtesy of Matthew Ries)
