Our Lady of Fatima Parish offers Young Domestics Camp April 7-10

The youth ministry of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Spokane, is offering a Young Domestics Camp during spring break, Monday-Thursday, April 7-10, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Campers will learn the basic terms and techniques of operating a sewing machine and the use of sewing tools while completing fun fashionable projects.

Additionally, participants will learn kitchen and food safety and sanitation, proper use of tools, baking and cooking terms, techniques, and following a recipe while creating delicious treats.

Campers will practice and learn proper etiquette and hospitality while serving each other and enjoying the treats they have created.

The camp is open to all boys and girls from grades 4-12. Space is limited to 50 students; cost is $105/person, which includes all supplies and equipment.

Directing the camp is Tammy Plummer, wedding coordinator at Our Lady of Fatima and a professional sewing instructor.
