Community service project

the Inland Register

(From the April 17, 2014 edition of the Inland Register)

StoreHouse is a Christian, faith-based, non-denominational non-profit (501(c) 3) organization that supports local agriculture while finding solutions to reduce hunger locally and globally. The organizationís primary mission is to feed the hungry efficiently and generously, while using Christian values. On March 12, students at Guardian Angel/St. Boniface School in Colton worked with StoreHouse to create dry soup mixes that will help feed the hungry at home and overseas. The community service project gave students an opportunity become aware of and help those in need. Father Joe Sullivan, pastor of the parishes in Colton and Uniontown, blessed the finished food mixes. (IR photo courtesy of Guardian Angel/St. Boniface School)
