Assumption School, Spokane, welcomes T.J. Romano as principal

This year sees a new principal for Assumption School, Spokane: T.J. Romano.

Romano replaces Carmen Himenes in the role.

Romano has been an educator in Catholic Schools for 15 years. His credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in History and Teaching Certification from Santa Clara University, as well as a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification from Washington State University.

He has been a part of the Assumption School community since 2007 as the junior high Language Arts teacher and vice-principal.

Previous to his time at Assumption, Romano taught seventh grade Language Arts and acted as Dean of Students and Curriculum Coordinator for Saint Simon School in Los Altos, Calif.
