Catholic bioethics conference is Oct. 10: ‘Preserving the Sanctity of Life: Challenges for Healthcare’

A Catholic bioethics conference, “Preserving the Sanctity of Life: Challenges for Healthcare,” will be sponsored by the Spokane-Coeur d’Alene Guild of the Catholic Medical Association on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 8 a.m.-noon in the Moot Courtroom of Gonzaga Law School, 721 N. Cincinnati St. in Spokane.
The conference will include case presentations with panelists of physicians, nurses, and attorneys, and will cover subjects of maternal-fetal ethical dilemmas, end-of life-care, euthanasia, avoidance of the cooperation with evil by health care workers in a culture which is anti-Christian, and future challenges involving genetic manipulation/ in –vitro fertilization.
The conference is open to the public and is free of charge.
