Master Gardener to share expertise at Colbert parish next month

The Women’s Guild Fellowship and Garden Circles of St. Joseph Parish, Colbert, are sponsoring a free talk, “Getting Your Gardens Ready for Summer,” by KXLY Radio and Television Master Gardener Phyllis Stevens on Tuesday, April 5, at 7 p.m. in the parish’s St. Francis Dining Room, 3720 E. Colbert Rd. in Colbert.

Stevens, whose home garden has been featured on Ed Hume’s Gardening in America series, will be providing valuable professional advice on preparing gardens for the upcoming summer season.

As a master gardener and former gardening columnist for the Spokesman-Review, Spokane’s daily newspaper, Stevens will share her many tried and true tips for a successful and beautiful garden this year.
